The worship service on Sunday January 8 (College Street Church, 10 a.m.) will feature brief reflections by four participants in the fall CCP/CSCC study and reflection program. Greg and Erin DeVries, Kari Giroux, and Mary Alice Favro will reflect on one of the words from Bryan McLaren's book ("Naked Spirituality: A Life with God in 12 Simple Words") One of our hopes for College Street is that the process of hearing from several of our own members will create new interest in our joint study efforts. We will resume on February 5 and meet the first three Sundays in February and the first three Sundays in March; all meetings will be at CCP from 4-5:30.
I would be interested in hearing from others who are following the blog about their suggestions and ideas for other joint educational ministry events. (perhaps an all day Saturday retreat?)
